We love watching the show called Ice Road Truckers and these people do some pretty risky things with their semis. They have to travel back and forth in wintry conditions and very icy roads up in Alaska. They sometimes risk their own lives. It is fun to watch and I admire them for their hard work.

The last two weeks I have been really surprised to see which couples have been voted out. Usually you can about guess but these last two weeks have been shocking. I am kind of glad that the underdogs are still there. I hope they stay around a little bit longer.

Heat Register

When we put our new addition on we only had one heat register put in and we found it wasn't enough over the winter. We were too cold. So now my husband is working on getting a second one in so it should help a lot more, we hope. The tool he is using is loud and annoying. He just said he is done so that makes me very happy.

Christmas Shopping

I can hardly believe that it is going to be time for Christmas shopping soon. My sister said they went and got a lot of theirs done already last week. I usually like to wait till Black Friday and then begin my shopping. A person can get so many good deals on that day and then it also gets me in the mood to shop for presents.

Calm Night

No matter what the temperature is outside it can be so awesome when everything is still. We are having one of those nights. The trees and bushes are so still. It's chilly outside but is tolerable when the wind isn't blowing.
