Kaden

When I saw this picture of my little nephew, Kaden, I thought how cool it is that so many great products are made for babies these days. He is in a little tent type of thing to protect him from mosquitoes while they spend time outside in the evenings. How clever and great for him that he doesn't get all bitten up.

Planet Earth

I have recently been recording Planet Earth on our dvr. On occasion my husband and I have been watching some of the episodes and they are so amazing. We have HD and the pictures are crystal clear. I am amazed at the shots they take of these animals and insects. It is remarkable and so fun to watch. If you get a chance to watch any of the Planet Earth episodes, please do.

Wasps and Hornets

I decided to go out and enjoy our swimming pool on this lovely day and as soon as my husband and I got the cover off the wasps and hornets were looking for a drink of water. It has been rather dry lately so I'm sure it's hard for them to find a place to drink so what better then our swimming pool. Before I even got into it I got two hornets and two wasps under my skimmer net and held them there till they drowned. I have never killed that many at one time. I had a little break then more came in. I lasted about an hour then had enough so I went inside.
