Deck

Starting tomorrow or Thursday we are planning on finishing our deck. I can hardly wait because when we walk out our sliding glass doors we feel like we are walking the plank to get to the rest of the deck. It doesn't look very attractive either.

Projects

Today my husband and I have been working on some projects around the house. We have an above ground swimming pool and a deck that is wrapped around it half way. It is higher then the other deck so we have been working on lowering it. We think we would get more use out of it. The problem is is that a lot of the screws have been in the wood for several years and don't want to come out. It is also extremely hot in the location where we have to work. Oh well, it has to be done.

Kitchen Faucets

I love to see new remodeled kitchens. We remodeled our kitchen several years back and I love it. I still like to see other kitchens to see the different ways people decorate, such as the unique kitchen faucets, counter tops and cabinet door handles they might choose. It is fun to me and I enjoy this kind of stuff very much and it gives me new ideas.

Painting

I have been wanting to paint the main level of our home for some time now. Since I went to stay with my sister this past weekend and seeing all the painting they have done it made me want to get started. I think we will darken our walls some in the brownish tint. It will give it a warmer feel to our house and also hide dirty walls better.:) I hate to paint but knowing that it will improve our home makes me want to do it.

New Driveway

Well, we finally did it. We got ourselves a cement driveway. I can't believe it. My husband has talked about this for years and now his dream has come true. He keeps telling me that I will love it also and I'm sure I will. It will be nice to not walk on a muddy, rocky driveway anymore after it rains or snows. It looks nice too.
