Pool

This is the first day that I have been in our pool. I've either been to busy or the weather hasn't cooperated. It's been great because we have had some really hot weather and that has helped heat up the pool. I enjoyed myself so much and the water was perfect.

Summer Heat

It's been kind of nice lately getting some more summer heat. I've enjoyed it very much and wish that I could still have our pool up and with warmer water so that I could spend more time in it. The nights just cool off way too much and so that keeps the water cold. Anyway, I do enjoy it feeling like summer yet.

Suntanning

Well, I think my suntanning days are numbered. I told my husband the other day that we just as well take down the pool now because the water is way to cold to get into it and I can't imagine that we will be getting anymore long stretches of hot weather in the near future to warm it up. So, I guess if I want to tan anymore I will have to lay in my lawn chair and soak up some rays.

Wasps and Hornets

I wish I knew a solution to keeping wasps and hornets away from our pool. I am scared of them and they are ugly. They like to dip down and get a drink from the pool but I try and scare them away or kill them. I'm sure they aren't going to bother me but I can't help myself. It can sometimes take the joy away from being in the pool.

Suntanning

Oh my, the weather has been absolutely amazing! I got a chance to lay out on our back deck for awhile yesterday and then again today. I have to say that today felt a lot warmer. I think the humidity is up. Anyway, my skin is a lot browner now.

Suntanning

I love to suntan. I realize it ages your skin more quickly and can cause skin cancer. I just love how browning your skin can make a person look healthier. If they a made a descent self tanning lotion I would consider going that route. It is tempting to try the spray on tan but not sure how long it would last or how expensive it would be.
