Pathetic

In my job I do a lot of walking some days. When I first started in this position I would try and walk very quickly and it helped me to drop some pounds that I was having a hard time getting rid of. Well this winter I have put on about 3 pounds and I thought I should start picking up my speed when I am walking around the halls at work. Hoping that if I do this day after day that I can drop those 3 pounds. So I got off to a good start today. It felt good to walk fast until this afternoon I suddenly felt pain in my left thigh area. I thought to myself, "Oh you got to be kidding me!" So tonight I am sitting here with a heating pad trying to calm the pain down. I suppose I will have to gradually get back into walking fast. It's a bummer that I hurt myself so easily.

A former coworker of mine loves to hunt. He will sit for hours up in his tree stand waiting for that perfect buck to cross his path so he can take it down. Tax Time

I hate tax time. I get nervous doing them and this year I had 4 to do. This past weekend I was busy getting them done and today I filed the last one. What a relief! Luckily none of them were too hard to do. Now we can sit back and enjoy the rest of the year and look forward to some refunds. It's nice to see my boys receive a refund. They can sure use the extra money. Before we know it I will be sitting down filing again. It just seems to go that fast.

Drama

It has not been a very good month for me at work. There has been more then enough drama involving staff and residents that live at my work place. The odd thing is is that I think I am a pretty easy person to be around and in 2 situations I was blamed for things I had nothing to do with. There was a lot of accusations, anger and things said that shouldn't have been said. I am going to be very happy when January is over and I am hoping the rest of this fine year will be dramaless.
