Jesse James Farm

Last week on the 4th of July we were heading south towards Texas for a wedding and we decided to stop in Missouri and visit the Jesse James farm place again. We had been there several years back and really enjoyed it. It's fun to hear the history of what went on at the home on farm place. In the main part of the house they still had the original flooring that Jesse stood on. It was quite fun and I could see us going back again some day. We took lots of pictures and enjoyed the beautiful day that day just looking around.

Wedding

We traveled to Texas this past weekend to attend our great nephew's wedding. It is a long trip but we had a nice time. The weather was very iffy, it stormed and was cloudy a lot. The wedding was going to be held outdoors so it was pretty questionable if it would go off without a hitch without rain. It did! It was a beautiful evening and a very nice wedding. We had yummy food and it was a great turnout of family and friends. We are back home now and it's good to be home.

Arkansas

Won't be long and my family will be heading to Arkansas. We have rented a cabin and will be joining up with other family members from my husband's side to have a reunion. We plan to stay there 3 nights and we can't wait. It looks absolutely gorgeous there and we've heard it's by a river where they are planning a lot of water activities. Should be lots of fun.

Arizona Trip

It's almost been a week since we've returned home from our Arizona trip. We were blessed with a free house to stay in while we were down there and the location of this home was in a beautiful area. We enjoyed so much the weather and area in which we stayed. We would love to go back again someday and hopefully we will be able to do that.

Miami Florida

My family has been to Florida many times and we love it every time we go down there. It is a beautiful state and wonderful weather especially in the winter time. One city I would love to visit sometime is miami florida. What I have seen of it the beaches are so beautiful and there are so many things to do there. Hopefully someday we will get to visit there.

It has been a few years since my whole family has been to Disney World. We had such a great time when we went and there was so much to see and do. Our boys, who are adults now, would love to go back with their friends. I don't blame them at all because I know how much fun it would be for them. Vegas Vacations

Have you ever had a chance to take Vegas vacations? We were very lucky to get to travel through Las Vegas several years ago and we stayed a couple of nights in one of their beautiful hotels. Vegas is so lively and full of fun. There is so much to see and do there. There is a lot of great entertainment to see for the whole family. It is so worth the time to plan a vacation to Vegas. I am hoping that sometime in the near future we can go again.

Bluetooth Headset

Just about anywhere you go you see people on their cell phones. Many people use them to keep in contact with loved ones or business associates. A friend of ours is an insurance sales man and is on the road a lot. He uses a Bluetooth headset all the time to keep in contact with his customers and his main office. It is so handy for him and it keeps him safer when he is communicating while driving down the road. This is a great way to never miss a call.

Family Vacation

We are on our family vacation for the summer. We are in Memphis and are having a great time. It is so warm and humid here but we wouldn't recognize Tennessee if it was hot and humid. That is pretty typical for this time of year. In a few days we plan to visit our niece in Little Rock and we look forward to that.

St. Louis Arch

When we were traveling we had to drive through St. Louis, Missouri. There off into the distance was the St. Louis Arch. What an amazing site to behold. A few years back on another vacation we traveled through there and actually stopped at the Arch and went up inside of it. The trip to the top was unique. It felt like we were in a space capsule. It was small and confined and held 5 people inside. It was worth it though to look out over the city from the top of the Arch.

GPS

We have a GPS that we used on our road trip to Florida and it is the most amazing thing. It was so nice to have forewarning when we were suppose to exit off roads and to take us to destinations that we wanted to get to. I would advise every person to own one of these. It was a huge help to us.

New York City Hotels

My husband and I enjoy going on trips and we have never been out to the east coast and would love to go sometime. New York City is one stop we would definitely want to make. It looks like an exciting city with lots to do. Of course, we would have to make reservations in advance for a New York City Hotel. I'm sure they keep booked up most of the time. Taking a trip like this would be a dream come true.

Florida

My husband and I are planning a trip to Florida in February. We are planning to drive down this time and are very excited about it. We have a friend who is going to let us stay in her condo which is located right by the ocean. I can't wait to relax and look out over the ocean especially at night when the sun sets.
