Sunnyview Open House

The Sunnyview open house was held this afternoon. This is an independent living facility where my husband and I both work. Several residents opened their suites to let everyone view how lovely they are. It was so nice and I enjoy seeing how each person decorates their home. They all love their suites and love living at Sunnyview. It was a great success and many people attended.

May Day Baskets

I work at a retirement residence and sometimes we staff like to do some little special things for the residents who live there. May day is right around the corner and we all go together and make each resident a May basket. It's kind of fun and they appreciate it too.

Trip to Sioux City

Sunnyview is a retirement residence where my husband and I work. This past summer they added a new entry way on the building and a drive through area where residents can be dropped off right at the door. It is looking great and a couple of men had to be hired to put some brick on the lower part of the addition. So, my husband and I took a trip to Sioux City to pick up the brick and cement. We took the Sunnyview truck and a big trailer and headed over there to get the stuff. It's about a two hour trip and that was the most up and down trip in that truck that I have ever been on. Because the trailer was empty it really made the truck bounce. The trip home was much better, thank goodness and we got everything to Sunnyview safe and sound.

Retirement home

I work at a retirement home. It's enjoyable to work around the elderly. It's like having your grandparents around you all of the time. They make it fun. I help serve them in the dining room at this facility and have fun joking with them and making them smile. I think it makes their day.
