Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat time is here. The costumes are so cute and the little children have so much fun.
The variety of costumes are fun to see and the creativity of some children or should I say parents is really neat as to what they come up with for these costumes. They are so unique and fun. I don't know how they come up with their ideas sometimes but it's pretty cool.

Halloween

Halloween can be a fun time of year but I don't like it when there is too much focus on scary movies and scary masks, etc. It would be nice if it could be more light hearted and less frightening. I love the idea of pumpkins and cute little costumes that children wear but not the gory horror stuff. I think children could enjoy it more, too if it were a lot less scarey.

The Young and the Restless

There is one soap opera that I do enjoy watching once in awhile and that is the Young and the Restless. I know there's a lot of deception and messing up relationships on there but I don't take it seriously and I just like keeping up with what's going on. A person doesn't need to watch it everyday to keep up with it. Not too much changes day to day but when they have a good storyline going on it's hard not to watch it everyday.

Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is so much fun. It's a great way to create memories with pictures, stickers, and journaling. It's a fun way to use all the pictures that have been taken over the years. I enjoy going to retreats with friends and catching up with what I need to get done. It also make for a nice weekend away from everyday life. I'm so glad that I have started this hobby.

Retirement home

I work at a retirement home. It's enjoyable to work around the elderly. It's like having your grandparents around you all of the time. They make it fun. I help serve them in the dining room at this facility and have fun joking with them and making them smile. I think it makes their day.

Suntanning

I love to suntan. I realize it ages your skin more quickly and can cause skin cancer. I just love how browning your skin can make a person look healthier. If they a made a descent self tanning lotion I would consider going that route. It is tempting to try the spray on tan but not sure how long it would last or how expensive it would be.
