Pool

This is the first day that I have been in our pool. I've either been to busy or the weather hasn't cooperated. It's been great because we have had some really hot weather and that has helped heat up the pool. I enjoyed myself so much and the water was perfect.

Fun Night Out

The other night my hubby and I met up with my brother, sister and their spouses and my parents for a night out for Mexican food. It was a restaurant where we had not been to in many years. It has a new owner and they now supposedly serve authentic Mexican food. Well, I was kind of tired of that kind of food so I got the fish fry. The fish was too soft but my baked potato was very good. We had terrible service and my brother in law didn't even get what he ordered and my sister got her food after the rest of us were already done eating. It was a fun time laughing and talking but that is one restaurant I would never have to go to again.

Wrinkle Creams

The older I get the more I think I should check out one of those wrinkle creams that are on the market. I love being in the sun and always have and it is starting to take a toll on me. Sons

Our sons are home for a few days and I love it. I baked a pie and some cookies in preparation for them to get here. They are so good about watching what they eat but when they come home that changes. I love cooking for them because they appreciate it so much.

Roses

This spring our rose bushes have really been blooming. They are so beautiful and I just had to get the camera out and take some pictures of them while they are so full of flowers. They really add to the beauty of our backyard.

Baby Birds

This is a fun time of year when we see baby birds around our place. We have had a couple of baby robins in our yard and it is so cute how they follow their mom around. Then the other day we found a baby black bird on our basketball floor. He was adorable so I took some pictures of him.
