Sister

HD Programming

We have had HD programming for several months now and we just love it. It is amazing how crisp and clear the pictures are. We like to find nature type shows because it almost makes you feel like your there. The colors and phenomenal and I guess I just can't say enough about it, we love it.

The Bachelorette

The Bachelorette is coming to an end. This coming Monday we will find out who Jillian has chose. Who do you think she will choose? I really like Kiptyn but think she should have kept Ried. Not sure what's going to happen, though because it looks like one of the guys she tossed aside shows up on the last show. I think it's Ried, I hope it is.

Cicadas

Usually by the beginning of July we start hearing the buzzing of cicadas. It can get so loud at times and they are nasty looking insects. Well, it's been awhile since I've had a migraine but today one hit me and I needed to get a lot done. So I mottled through with the pain in my head. New Driveway

Well, we finally did it. We got ourselves a cement driveway. I can't believe it. My husband has talked about this for years and now his dream has come true. He keeps telling me that I will love it also and I'm sure I will. It will be nice to not walk on a muddy, rocky driveway anymore after it rains or snows. It looks nice too.

July 4th

Did you get to do anything special for July 4th? I had to work that day and so did my husband. We got out of our jobs fairly early and went home and grilled and I had made a lot of other great side dishes. The only disappointing thing about that day is that it was dark, rainy and cold that day. It was so unusual. We didn't even go out to watch any fireworks. We had recorded some on our dvr so we watched those. Over all it wasn't too bad of a day.
