Flooding

I had to make a trip up north in Iowa yesterday and on the way up it was crazy to see the flooding of fields and ditches. The whole day that I was gone it rained constantly. When I went through one small town there were several homes that had carpet laying out by the curb showing that they had a flooded basement. I drove through Fort Dodge and the river was extremely high. I felt bad for the ones that were living so close to it. Then as I made my way home I had to take a detour because the water was covering the road and as I was taking a different route there again I had encountered more water running across the road. Thank the good Lord I was able to get through there. I made it home safely.
