Storms

Storms ripped through Iowa early this morning around 2:00. I was sleeping and I woke up to a low rumbling sound. At first I thought it was someone banging on our door but then I saw the lightning and knew what was going on. It was raining like crazy and the thunder just rolled constantly and lightning flashed almost constantly. It definitely ruined my night sleep because I ended up being awake for a couple of hours and my husband also sat up for awhile. Just what we didn't need. It looks as though we were blessed because many others were not so lucky. Huge trees fell and many people were without electricity for quite awhile. So we are counting our blessings.
